Configuration

This was very easy as Comodo gives you a few simple options and does the rest for you, with the option to change any one setting whenever you like "eg" block any application from sending or receiving through the Firewall (handy if you have any programs you would rather not go on line), again i decided to show the set up steps in pictures >

First option is for networking

Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0 interface comes in four main windows Summary, Firewall, Defence+ and Miscellaneous.

Summary shows you exactly what is happening with the Firewall (i invited a friend to try to hack my system, with conventional means he could not get past Comodo !)

-

Firewall this window shows eight common tasks and advanced tasks (the more experienced user may want to use the advanced tasks)

Defence+ shows further settings (all explained in the window its self)

-

Miscellaneous covers password protection, updates and access to help files and a Forum where you can discuss Comodo Firewall

Comodo Firewall can be set to learn your system, this is a very handy function and takes a lot of the hard work out of setup

Updates are automatic or you can update manually if you want, i am quite impressed with this free Firewall and for now i will keep it on my system, its user friendly and has passed every test given.
I would rate Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0 - 9.9 out of 10, if you are looking for a strong and very well put together Firewall for Windows Vista you will not be disappointed with Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0.
