A Mod at Webmaster-Talk found an abandoned cat and has rescued him. The Mod is Forrest and the cat is Michael. In the rescue, Forrest spent a lot of money to get him healed up with the vet and has now given him a home.

Here's a thread at WT about Michael if you want to read more about the situation. We told Forrest that he should put up a website so he might be able to get some donations to help with the expense, and it could possibly start something new for lost, abandoned, or even abused pets. Here's the site. Forrest didn't ask for donations, but we encouraged him to put a donation button on his site and it's there if anyone wants to donate something.

Whether you can or can't give, send Forrest and Michael some good thoughts. I think it's an admirable thing that Forrest has done.

My Hunni and I have done quite a few rescues for just about everything that is native in this state and it can be rather expensive. But, we always got a lot of love from the ones that we loved by helping them. Every now and then, I even got a little "love" bite. I'm sure Forrest will now have a good friend.
