You can buy a new heatsink and/or fan and change it out. They need to match the CPU, but they are separate to the CPU and made to change out. You would look for a CPU cooler compatible with socket 478.

When you swapped the Mobo, did you remove the heatsink from the CPU and use new thermal compound?

Is the machine overheating?
