At the end of the summer my brother is probably giving me his older 300gb hard drive, and that is great!
However, I have 80gb hd in the powerbook which is mac os x 10.4.7 right now and I have nearly 1tb of internal hd space in the pc on windows xp pro 32bit.
The mac stores it files in their own file system type and windows does it on ntfs.
I could just format the drive in 2 partitions and use one partition for each OS?
What would be great is moving files like .avi or .zips or .txt from the pc on the external drive and then read and use it on the mac? And visa versa of course.
I have no experience with this expcet for using my ipod
Or just format it on the pc as fat32 and let it use by both systems without problems?
Anybody have any experience with this?
