Way back in school I used Commodor 64s. I learned CAD on 386s in college, and my first computer was a 486 dx2 w/ 8MB ram and an 800 MB hard drive

I started out doing graphic arts (Photoshop, Corel Drawt, etc) but eventually evolved into web design, then programming. I started my programming phase in Visual Basic, and did that for about 6 years. 2 years ago I moved to a company that does php development on Mac and Linux machines. At home the spouse and I have migrated away from Windows, and are now entirely Mac/Linux based.

I'm starting to get a little more into administration, and am running sftp, ssh, and apache from my home server.
