Yup the battery life is true, using it now as I type. Haven't changed it yet^^

Also, the batteries are included

Oh and it has the Media Life thing which is like using the Media Center in XP Media Center Edition 2005. It's nice for a little bit, but then you might want to use that extra button for something else. All buttons are programmable.
