Yes, they are the latest drivers. It's all brand new and I took pains to insure that everything was as up to date as possible. The card uses not only a standard driver but an interface piece.

I noticed when I was first putting the machine together that no sound would be played until this had finished loading. I turned off its splash image, which sped the loading up, but it's still not ready before windows plays the wav. Perhaps I could delay the playing of the wav? Make it the last thing windows does on startup?
