Nvidia are the coolest, i had to save for over a month to get mine (EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS SuperClocked 640MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI) but its worth it as i do Game , spec and picture below >

ATI / AMD do make some very good GPUs, and in my next build i may go ATI, the Radeon HD 3870 X2 1024MB GDDR3 > Here looks very good but i also want to look at the 8900s, each camp make brilliant Graphics Cards (there is not much in it between the two ! )

when i had my tower pc, it was gforce and was good, macs are ati and are equally as good - tbh i've never been that into graphics cards

Thats the difference Ian you buy a mac "off shelf" and you can build a tower PC depends what you prefer

Oh yes you can buy Desk top PCs off the shelf (ive never had one, all of mine have been built) and many off the shelf are overpriced and under powered, what i was saying is many mac users dont build, Im not saying there is anything wrong with mac, i know a lot of builders and not one has ever built a mac AFSIK

Well ATM ATI is way out front with there Radeon HD 3870 X2 1024MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI > Here twin GPUs and a very cool spec !

Agree Ken its gorgeous , Crossfire in one card !, its going to be interesting to see what nVidia bring out next with the 8900 series
