TNT and TOS
Terms are boring and most people probably never read them, but you should!
This is an agreement between you and TheNewTech. It outlines all the stuff
we (and you) can do. When you use our site, you are saying that you
understand and agree to these terms. Remember, if you are ever confused
about our terms then contact us!
Content on TNT
Being a community means that people can contribute freely, and the staffers
on TNT can't go through every single submission. While we try to filter and
remove content that we don't like, we might miss some. So we've gotta point
out that views and opinions posted on our site don't necessarily reflect
those of TNT, its owners, managers, agents, partners, advertisers or
affiliates. We claim absolutely no responsibility about the content posted.
Use, read or believe anything you read on TNT at your own risk. We can't
guarantee it will be true or make any promises on its accuracy.
Keep in mind that this also means you might be subjected to some material you
find offensive or inappropriate. We try to please everyone, but we aren't liable for
such content.
Submitting content to TNT
When you submit any content to TNT (which includes but isn't limited to
profile information, posts, messages avatars and photos) you grant us a
royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive rights and license to
use in any way (including but not limited to editing, publishing or
distributing) the submitted content. You agree that anything you submit to
our site may be viewed by the administrators at their sole discretion. You
agree that anything you submit will only be removed at the discretion of TNT
staff, and can be removed for any reason at any time. We also aren't
responsible for lost or stolen data (for example, due to a server crash or
burglary).
Basically what this means is: when you submit content to TNT, you're giving
us rights to that content. It is still your stuff, but we can use it however
we want to. For example, we can publish your works (in full or in part) in
an article in a newspaper. Or if we don't like the content you posted, we
can remove it if we want to. And if you want your content removed, it's our
decision whether or not to accept your request (most of the time we will, if
there is good reason).
The kinds of content you can post on TNT
There some stuff we just don't want to see on our site. This includes:
Advertising and spam, information you know to be false or inaccurate,
defamatory, abusive, harassing, obscene, threats, or illegal. We'll delete
this kind of stuff on sight. And if we don't like something else that isn't
specifically listed, remember, we can remove that too.
Your responsibility for the content you post on TNT
When you post stuff on our site, you agree that you are solely responsible
for it. You agree to hold harmless TNT (and it's owners, staff or
affiliates) with respect to any claims based on the content you submit. You
agree that any personal information you post publicly is done at your own
discretion and that TNT in no way requires personal information to be posted
publicly. TNT is not responsible for anything that happens as a result of
you posting content on our site.
