Hey guys!

I just arrived back to work. My holidays just ended.
Well, not for the year! I still have one week left, in September! Weeee!

I was on holidays for 2 weeks. Been with my family that lives in the country side, for a week. The other week I spend going around to visit places on my country, and I also went to the beach. Nice.
The week I have left, to September, I will go to a hostel near the most turistic beaches in my country, witch is Algarve, and do a week of beach and swimming pool. I just hope the weather doesn't ruin it all! Hehe.

By the way, I leave in Portugal.

So, what you guys are / have been up to for this summer?

I just got back on Sunday from spending a little over a week at North Myrtle Beach. I'm not much of a beach person, but I really enjoyed the vacation with my family.

There were 14 of us that went and stayed in a condo. That was my Hunni and I, our 2 sons, my brother and his wife, their 2 daughters, and their daughter's kids, 2 boys and 2 girls with the oldest, and a boy and a girl with the youngest. That should add up to 14.

The ages were from 8 years old to way up there!

We did a lot on the beach and in the pool. The pool water was cold, but the ocean water was not bad at all (except it's dirty but minus chlorine).

I hope you enjoy your next holiday time, too! My next time away will be for camping in late October, November, and December.

Hi everyone! We've got TS from beautiful Portugal and the lovely Dave camping in several more weeks. I hope you don't have big bears where you camp. I used to camp w/my family as a little kid what a trip. But it's good to know how to survive-right? It's good for telling stories and singing Cumbayah! I know that song well but I can't spell it sorry about that.Well, I hope Dave enjoys all 3 of his camping trips. They sound quite interesting. Hope they are lots of fun too. Take Care All, sunshine

I never camped, and the idea doesn't attract me. I'm more the hotel guy.

Well TS!~I haven't camped since I was 6, I prefer the hotel & shower myself. I love to see European cultural cities and swim, dj, take pix, go clubbing, eat good food, meet neat & diverse people. My last vacation was in Amsterdam for 5 weeks in 2006 All of August & 1 week in Sept. I love to walk around and soak-up all of the art & people watch too. Depending where I am~that could include swimming a lot & tanning safely. I love Nature but I am kind of a clean freak so~I need my restroom! I am hoping to visit Greece and or Adam in the future again. There are so many things I still need to do yet. How about you TS? Take Care, sunshine

I plan on going to Amersterdam someday too.
Earlier this year I was about to go to Prague for a week. But the plans went wrong. I haven't been to any nordic countries yet, but something about it attracts me, there are a lot of places on northern europe I'd like to go.
Greece is also a place that attracts me.

Here I go on my last holydays for the year! I'll be back soon.
The weather got really bad. I hope it improves quickly. It started raining!!

Well TS! I hope you are able to go on holidays to all of those places you mention. I can definitely give you tips etc. Also, I heard that Copenhagen, Denmark is quite beautiful and lovely too. Prague is a very cool place...there's a very famous clock there. I think it's an Astronomical Clock~very neat~ there's a lot of neat sites too. It's not too far from the Netherlands either. I hope that your travel vacations become a reality. Also, try to make the best of the one you are currently enjoying~okay! Awesome. Take Care too...~sunshine~
