CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!

I downloaded it yesterday. I installed and ran it today. Seems to run well, and quick, and does a good job of cleaning and getting rid of those loose ends in the registry!

Just a note that they do accept contributions from anyone that wants to show their appreciation for the software. I like to help, even for freeware, when I can so that the creators get a little aid, too.
