if NTLDR is missing then you don't have the boot files on the active partition or new hard drive - if you've installed a new hard drive that is, some clues would be nice as to your problem

NTLDR Error Message
There are few different ways that the "NTLDR is missing" error may present itself, the most common > 1) NTLDR is missing Press any key to restart 2) NTLDR is missing Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart 3) Boot: Couldn't find NTLDR Please insert another disk The "NTLDR is missing" error displays very shortly after the computer is first started, immediately after the (post) is complete - Windows OS has only initially begun to load when the NTLDR error message appears. Causes of NTLDR Errors There are a number of possible causes for NTLDR errors, including the most common "NTLDR is missing" error message. The most common reason for this error is when your PC is trying to boot from a HDD or Flash Drive that is not properly configured to be booted from; in other words, it's trying to boot from a non-bootable source. This also would apply to media on an Optical Drive or FDD that you're trying to boot from. If anyone receives this error message please post here as its quite easy to fix

Hi Sepulchre
Yes there will be a way around it but first we need to find out why as there are quite a few possibilities "even the OS" Start by going through this list first > NTLDR
