I bought my toshiba laptop in the UK and will be living abroad for about 6 months, the power supply there is different. Is running my computer of just a normal plug adaptor ok?
Since it is a laptop, I do not expect that you will run into difficulties with a plug adaptor; however, if you see it restarting or losing power, you may consider an alternative.
Always, always make sure you are plugging to the same power source voltage. I think you should have something like a transformer, which is for voltage regulation or conversion, in case the power source to the place you are going to is different.
