Which console do you have?

Of the top 3 consoles, which one or ones do you own?

Nintendo
PlayStation
xBox

And of the one(s) that you have, what made you buy it as opposed to the others? This is not your typical "which is better" thread, just want to know why you selected the one you bought.

I've got the XB and PS2. If I had to choose, I'd take my XB over my PS2

Nintendo doesn't interest me anymore. Most of the games I like on Nintendo come out on either XB or PS2, anyway. And most of the games that aren't on XB or PS2 are weird kid games which I find boring

I don't play many console games, though. So I'm not sure if I'll be buying XB360 or PS3 (when they come out). If I do, I'll probably wait a year after each release so I can save a couple hundred dollars. But the new Nintendo will likely be cheap (they always are), so I actually might get that (so I can have at least one next-gen console for playing hockey, racing etc).

I have PS2 and xBox. I, too, will probably wait on buying the newer generation consoles until they've been out for awhile (if I do buy).

Nick, why'd you give up on consoles?

Because they released only a few worthwhile games on each console and there is no such thing as upgrading consoles, so getting the latest and greatest usually means buying a new console.

I want xbox 360 looks soo nice, but iuno if i will buy it right away, i might wait to see what the next generation of Playstation holds.

Apparently the PS3 will have little noticeable difference over the XB360, and it will be much more difficult to develop for. So adding up that it will be released about a year after XB360, will not have many features over XB360, and being it is extremely hard to develop games for -- XB360 might be a success

xb360 also has some nice games coming out, PGR3 and more :P
