Windows Live Mail (Beta)

I have been using this instead of Outlook Express for several days. I can't say whether I like it better or not. Outlook Express splashes a momentary window to let you know that the message has been sent from the Outbox. Windows Live does not. How can I be sure the message was sent? Any thoughts? -- Jim

If it doesn't give you a pop-in window or splash screen saying that it was sent, you could look in the Sent folder and see if it's there.

I think it's safe to assume your message was sent if you get no errors at all. Either you'd get an instant error, or a few minutes later you'd get a 'mail delivery error' type message in your inbox.
