If you use FireFox, what are your favorite, or must have, extensions/plugins? What do you recommend for other FF users?

I like AdBlock which filters ads from pages. I just downloaded Answers 1.24 that is supposed to give definitions of highlighted words with Alt+click.

See screenshot.

I usually have SpellBound as well, but it's been buggy with 1.5.

Adblock, all-in-one gestures, web-developer toolbar and Googlebar-lite. The googlebar acts as a toolbar item, not a toolbar of its own so you can drag and drop the google bar onto the bookmarks bar to avoid having them stacked and wasting space.
I use a pen tablet not a mouse so I can draw gestures much faster than moving to the interface buttons and much faster than moving my hands to the keyboard.

Hello -

I use:
WebDeveloper
FireFTP (great FTP editor)
WebWinX WebHelper Toolbar (for SEO and WebMastering)

FYI, I have written tutorials for these and more in my twice monthly column at:
Web Helper Magazine & Resources ยป WebChew Column

Let me know if there are some extensions you would like us to review/create a tutorial about.

Yours -
scott

I have...
  • DOM Inspector
  • IE Tab
  • Adblock Plus
  • Tab Mix Plus
Tab Mix Plus is great because it can restore your session should FireFox crash .
