I have a Nice and very small 256mb card that i bought about 6 months ago. It looks a bit tatty now as i keep chewing it, but still works well. Since i have been in college and been able to access all my work from college over the internet i havent found the need to use it as much as i did.

I had a Sandisk 256 mb model but thanks to hurricane katrina I know longer have it. Oh well. I am planning on getting a new one soon, cause I used mine all the time. And for anyone interested I have found the best deals on them on tiger direct.

I've got a 256mb for school. Kinda cheepy, the keyring came off within hours but the drive seems to work ok. If I could find it I'd list the brand :-P

I have a 1GB ipod shuffle. I used to keep it full of music, but now I just keep a few podcasts at a time on it. So most of the storage is unused by music. For the most part, it's become a 1GB thumb drive that just happens to also play music. I keep a few handy things on it, such as my gpg keys.

Have any of you ever looked into thumb drive apps?

I was planning to buy this today (I went to CC to get my new monitor) but I totally forgot about it...

When I get a thumb drive it will have Firefox, KeePass and TrueCrypt on it. And files, of course

Yeah, I've got it on my todo list to put truecrypt on my shuffle as well. If you're not familiar with truecrypt already, you should listen to the Security Now episode about it.

Encrypting is always nice to see; however, I don't have anything to hide (I think ), but good to know that such softwares exist.

Well I wouldn't even want my Word document or such to fall into someone else's hands if I happened to leave my thumb drive somewhere

Let alone other sensitive data like Firefox history or something.
