OK
Go > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager you will see DVD/CD Rom Drives open the tree (click on the + ) left of the name right click on your Lite-on DVD R/W in the dropdown click properties now at the top you will see Driver click that tab and tell me what you see ?

Your Driver has jumped
its not a problem if it was just corrupt you would of had something "it happens" and the uninstall tab don't always fix it after reboot, so we are going to do it the hard and fast way >Switch off the Computer take off the side panel "so you can get to the DVD R/W" (use a static strap, or as your only touching cables hold the metal inside of your case, disconnect the data and power to the DVD R/W Drive (and make sure there not near any fans boot your Computer let windows load then shut it down , replace the power and data cables and boot the Computer, now try the DVD R/W Drive
