I have played around with Windows Mobile OS enabled devices, but never owned one. How complete is the experience compared to using a desktop/laptop version?

Also are there plans for a Vista mobile version?

For the Windows Mobile question. I've never used it but i'd imagine it has most of the basic functions like the the Home and Pro versions.

For the Vista Mobile question. It is FAR too early for any hearings on a Vista mobile anything as we yet to recieve Windows Vista itself.

Very interesting. I think that this is big step towards making the PC more mobile. I remember hearing Bill Gates say that he eventually wants all PC's to be laptops and/or mobile.

If only my PC was mobile . . . I really prefer PCs over laptops, but the fact that my PC is a giant monster is a bit of a disadvantage. Hence why I have one of each . . .

I was just wondering, is Windows Mobile OS more powerful than Windows Mobile 5?

The Windows Mobile OS has enabled the mobile phone to become more functional than ever. Compared to a desktop or laptop, I would still say that the phone is suited for smaller tasks.

The Windows Mobile 5 was released in 2003, so the more recent Windows Mobile Magneto should have more features.
