Probably... that's an "oldie but a goodie" & it works, & I was surprised it wasn't here in this one is why I mentioned it.

Hey - since you run VISTA? What services have you cut off, & which ones have you left on... I don't mean to make you type out a ton of things, but I am curious!

(There's a TON more of them in VISTA is why I ask & I don't keep VISTA here... never hurts to have a reference of that, I figure @ least).

I took a peek @ it, & it seems "straight/solid" enough, but... I have to get ahold of a COMPLETE list of VISTA services (printout or screenshot) one of these days (as I have not committed it to memory, no need, I don't keep VISTA here @ home, personally (nothing against it either, I just am happy w/ its codebase predecessor in Windows Server 2003 SP#2 here is all)).

Thus, I trust you, you are running solid apparently, & have tried your recommendations I am assuming... & that makes YOU, the resident expert on VISTA, here imo!



* All I recall from servicing it for customers this year was that there is a LOT more services (& much gui change) in VISTA vs. older MS' OS'... & that meant a LOT of room for "tuning/tweaking" imo!
