I'm more of a PHP coder anyway, but maybe I'll take a look at it.

Yeah, I downloaded these products (well, VB C# and Visual WebDev) a few weeks ago. They are really very good! I'm glad Microsoft is offering them free for a short time. I wasn't able to get to the launch event to get the full version, but these seem to be more than enough. FYI, if you download VB or C#, you get SQL Server Express on the ISO as well.

Well... I just downloaded but don't know much about it hopefully I'll find some free resources on the web.

How much can you actually do with this free version. I have the full version at work, but maybe I'll download this for home.

They are basically lightweight versions.
