I wouldn't be surprised if it's Comcast myself either. They've been the worst ISP I've ever had.

I have friends on Comcast too, but they aren't getting the same problem though.

Your pals MAY not be on the same 'segment' of their network... because, you can almost BANK on the fact that they are only doing things like that to certain segments, as an experiment (or, that is @ least how I MIGHT do so, were I they, that is).

Then again, I read thru this post here, & saw you were running 2 firewalls simultaneously, & I have tried that... & DID experience cutoffs of service + other "strange phenomenon"...

(I am assuming you stopped using 2 software firewalls simultaneously though, @ this point)
