I have been using Counterspy "not Freeware", It's a powerful Anti-Spyware, Anti-Malware defence for Windows, it updates each day has a real time active protection and a very good scan engine. Interface is easy to use and its easy to configure, all in all a great app !, screen shots from my system below

Other Spy security programs over the last 6 years across 9 Computers i have used are (not including AVs) >
Ad-aware SE free & Pro a-squared free & Pro Spy -Bot S&D ewido Anti spy X-Soft Spy Pro SpywareBlaster Trend Micro Anti-Spyware AVG Anti-Spyware Trojan Remover SpywareGuard WinPatrol free & Plus Start Page Guard Comodo BOClean Windows Washer Panda Anti-Spy Trojan Hunter I am still testing Counter Spy, but up to now its looking quite good, i hope to elaborate on this later and will post here
