Hi! I am using Win XP SP2 and from about yesterday, all of a sudden the taskbar stopped showing open apps, see screenie: http://h1.ripway.com/jacintamae/taskbar_screenie.gif
There are 3 programs open and not 1 of them is showing on the taskbar. I've tried everything i can think of including unlocking the taskbar then one by one unchecking every box Can anyone PLEASE help? Or I'll have to spend the rest of my life teaching my siblings to use Alt and Tab and stop opening programs 96 million times!! Thanks very much! Stephanie |

I don't know how we missed this thread. Sorry!
There's a slider bar to adjust the size of the quicklaunch taskbar. Has it been adjusted to where it's touching the desktop icon in the startup taskbar? This would not leave room for the desktop apps to show. Dave
