Paint.Net is free image editing and photo manipulation software designed to be used on computers that run Windows, very similar to Paint Shop Pro but without the cost, It supports layers, unlimited undo, special effects, and a wide variety of useful and powerful tools. Paint.Net can be used to enhance and clean up your photographs. Using the Clone Stamp tool, the power lines that criss-crossed in front of the Space Needle can be carefully removed. Unlimited History
Everybody makes mistakes, and everybody changes their mind. To accommodate this, every action you perform on an image is recorded in the History window and may be undone. Once you've undone an action, you can also redo it. The length of the history is only limited by available disk space. I use Paint.Net and i think its brilliant.

I've downloaded it a couple of times, but never got around to installing it. Maybe one day...

I use PSP X 10 and its not that much better then Paint.Net, just more whistles and bells.

This is a powerful photo editor that is safe and free of malware.

I had missed this thread, but this seems like it might be a good program to add for the artistic side. And the price is great.

I like to suggest to people that download it and love it that you don't forget that the owner is open for donations. It helps him/her to develop more!
