Well the general trend of things is to go wireless anyway so the mouse is just one of those items going with the flow.

The Macbook uses a bluetooth mouse. It operates using two AA lithium non-rechargeable batteries. Very cool looking!
It can operate even at a distance of about 5 meters, although one wouldn't really go that far. Here is a link for more reading. ![]() |

I have a wireless mouse and keyboard combo and I love it. Mostly for the same reasons as everyone else. I hate the clutter of cords. I'm with Christopher my charge lasts about a week or so and does the same sleep thing. Also another good thing was I got my combo for about $50 they had the wrong price on it so when I went to check out it rang up as $149.99 I told him that was the wrong price. I went and got him the sign that was on the shelf that said $49.99 he gave it to me for the $50 it was awesome the dude didn't even care that I got it for so cheap you can check out my combo here.
