Okay, so this is just a regular xBox (not the 360). It will start any and every xBox game you put in it. It will load and show all the stuff you'd like to skip. However, when you press or select "start", it just freezes up on that screen and never continues.

I thought it might be one game and the CD was dirty, but the disk wasn't dirty and it's not just one game. I tried 4 games and they all did that same thing.

Any suggestions to fix this problem? And what is this problem?

Dave

Well, I know you have got the Xbox working now, so why dont you let us all know how you fixed it. I'm just curious cause I have asked several times without an answer.

Oh crap! Well, the answer is, don't try this at home, I just banged it once while moving it and it started working again.

So does anyone know if I'm heading for trouble, like it's gonna' go down for good now? I can't keep banging it or dropping it on the floor.

There's 3 numbers on the bottom:
  • Mfg. Date: 2002-01-10 (wow, that's old)
  • S/N: xxxxxxx xxxxx
  • Product ID: 442 4098653 20103
I didn't see one that said Model # per se, but does that help?
