Yeah, I get killed a lot too. Then you have to try to go out and find your body so you can get all your stuff back. But I do like the game. I have XP so I don't know if it runs under Vista or not.

Sorry guys diablo II is not compat with Vista as standard but there may be a patch, try Here

OK, now I've just got Oblivion! It's pretty good so far! I haven't played an RPG in ages! The last one I played was Maple Story

EDIT:: I REALLY want GTAIV. I so badly want it. BUT I know I'd completely forget about college lmao. Grrr. I have not pre-ordered it for this reason (was seriously considering yesterday!)

Well, not much for the "gaming front", @ least not like I used to be 5-10 yrs. ago... but, I like IDSoftware's games! Especially their "1st person shooters"...

Well, because they're generally "cutting edge tech" when they release, & their main architect/software engineer, John Carmack?? He IS a genius, in every sense of the word... imo, @ least! His "Carmack's Reverse" (look that one up, very interesting)?? Took smarts... thinking "outside of the box", by ALL means...

P.S.=> You guys may NOT have caught this post, but, for the "oldies games" & not just those I noted above? Many have been "ported" over time, from DOS to Win32 environs... & into either an OpenGL display, OR DirectX ones as well! Something to consider/"food-4-thought", see here:

This is a strange post & ? I received a game called Kate&Lynch "DeadMen" It's labeled as a PC/DVD game for Windows. I never even paid a penny for this game. blog & it came in my mailbox from Amazon~bizarre-huh? Do I need any kind of special game devices or controllers to play this game on my Windows HP O/S??? It looks like some kind of very violent mercenary game. Any thoughts or ideas as what I may need to play this game from Eidos. I think I have the requirements but I am used to old-school games like pinball & Mario Brothers (I hear you laughing). Thanks so much. sunshine
