50 posts, oh so sorry, can't hear you...

Someone by the name of Me said they hated anything animated, hmmmmmmmm, now if one strolls on over to "Chit Chat" and looks at the thread "The Scene", one will find two pages of correspondence activity. Now the dialog goes as to what episode was better or when the next episode is coming out. Now seeing as I spent close to three months learing about capturing devices, both hardware and software, how to capture movies, learning how to splice, delete scenes, ect., I would say that is one great big animated file, with many many frames, they sure aren't stills.

Now the person by the name of Me hurry up and put the plugin so Oberon's poor fairy can flap her wings.....

Touche I don't like distractions on a webpage, is what I meant. Avatars can be distracting.

What I don't want is avatars like this (not the content, the speed and flashiness). I think if I had a page full of posts with avatars like that, I'd go nuts.

Not to mention the extra loading times.
Flash is a big no no, to much stuff can be done with actionscript.
Good reason why no flash bbcode exists.
Plus the loading times.

If you check our rules we actually have a sig size limit....

(don't mind my mindless ramblings)

There's also a size limit on avatars.

The flapping wings don't bother me, but that one Chroder listed could drive people insane (probably alot like the person that created it).

I was about to make an animated one. Very simple and was about 8Kb. There would be a very tiny shine effect zooming across my avatar. Not distracting at all...if you happen to notice that is lol.

/me command eh? I missed that in other vBullitein forums

Well I enabled them. So, have fun I'll just go and tell people to remove their avas if they're too flashy.
