("PSYCHED!" &, I do DEFINITELY think that the eggshells ground to powder are working, because my crop is outgrowing my tenant Jim's crop by miles)...

So... today, for the 1st time?

I am going to apply a 1/2 'dosage' of EXTREMELY 'watered-down' (from std. dose) "MIRACLE GROW" though, for that "added turbo-boost"...

(See - I will only do this once a month or so though, tops, because I do NOT want to "nitrogen lock" all the nutrients in the soil where I plant out, for next year (this, I have heard tell, does happen IF you "overdo it" using this chemical for plant growth... not sure if it is true though))

BACK ON TRACK/TOPIC:

Yesterday was ESPECIALLY beautiful, & a holiday nationwide here in the United States ("4th of July"), staying a wonderful 75° F, nice steady breeze, & my buddy Jack + I enjoyed it in LARGE part, after staying up a GOOD chunk of the night (since no work next day) doing a bunch of data burns to DVD-R disks.

It was fun for myself & he, spending time w/ a good friend on a great holiday... &, I hope you all enjoyed it as well, wherever you are/were @ the time also!

Getting hit by a "heatwave" here too, the past 2 days now... 90++ F temps, & I too, feel as YOU do, but...

Still - I DO have to get a few things done outside today!

(Wax car, mainly... but, that too has to wait until evening (cooler temp.s & no direct sunlight while I do the job etc. et al) though, nevertheless (lawn cutting will most likely NOT be 1 though, because of said heatwave - but, that can change as the day passes & the ambient temps go down, by evening)).

* Better than winter blizzards, by all means & all that, though!



(Still... sometimes, it goes TOO hot outside for some things to happen!)

P.S.=> Editing in later: Bills are PAID (head stays "above water" for another month, lol), Garden is watered, Grocery Shopping done, & even made a GOOD lunch (Italian Sausage, Peppers, & Onions (this ROX!))... now, all that remains, is waxing the ride, & that'll do for a "days work getting done", etc. et al!

HOWEVER? This has to wait too, for my evening "tea time", whilst I sit in my garden, in the shade (the "octopus' garden, in the shade", per the tune by The Beatles) w/ a nice cup of tea & a smoke (dumbest thing I do is the latter, BUT, I like my tobacco, lol)... apk
