I am in the process of becoming a licensed, certified skydiver. I was wondering how many of you out there have been? If so, how many jumps and would you consider it one of the greatest things you have experienced (as I do)?

If you haven't been, do you want to? If not, why?

Gravity and the equation for energy. When you are my mass, speed + gravity is something you don't want to tangle with.

Since "stand up, hook up, shuffle to the door" is not skydiving, I put that I haven't been, but want to. I probably won't do it now because of my knees.... unless maybe I could land in a pond somewhere.

DaveMo - You actually land by sliding in on your *** so it is not bad on your knees. That is something I was worried about as well having had both of my knees reconstructed thanks to years of soccer. There was no impact.
