Personal decorations?

I tried to be a little misleading with the title....

Tattoo(s)

What do you think about them? Do you have any? Tell us your thoughts.

I wonder what made me think of this... see the poll!

I like tasteful tats that are professionally done and maintained, bu the missus said I ain't getting one. End of that discussion.

I've looked at a few that I might like to have. The biggest concern is, "Will I still want this five years from now? Ten? Twenty? What will I tell my grandkids when they ask about it?"

I don't have any now but can't say I will never get one. My concerns are the same as Trotter's. But I think if I were to get a really small one on my shoulder for example, and it wasn't something like a skull and crossbones, then I wouldn't mind it being there even when 80 years old.

My friend has his whole arm tattooed. I wonder what he'll think about that in another 10 years

I have a small Butterfly with a tail quite a way below my navel and to the left, LoL sorry not posting it

I think a tattoo should represent something about the person wearing it, like their favorite hobbies, or people, or design, or just something they really really like.

My first tattoo is a portrait type of a 10 point (eastern count) whitetail deer; one that I have a picture of, on my left deltoid. It's in a light green oval and has a Native Indian type band around my arm with 3 feathers beside it. It represents one of my loves, hunting and camping, and part of my heritage.

the delicate ones (in the right places) and ornate, decorative ones look fantastic on the ladies though, sexy
