works fine for me now. The text in the quick reply box, for some reason there is a very large margin, is that standard vb 3.5 margins?

okay i think its a wonderful idea, but don't you think that a group of say members having an ulterior motive might want to push up a particular topic? spam wise? there would be other considerations that you might want to look into non?

who mentioned calculus?

There will be ways of negafying (that is, giving negative "points") a story as well. If the mods are doing their job, these kinds of threads will be deleted before it get's enough points to be pushed to the main page anyhow. And it would take an awful lot of new users to push a single story; I don't think spammers will stay around and make 500 real posts just so they can have "power" and try and push a spam thread to the frontpage and get banned.

Spam might be hard at the beginning, but once a community is built up there will be more regular, honest members to over-rule any spam attempts. In the mean time, the moderators and admins will have to do their job. Spam is a problem everywhere, this is no different. We deal with spam on forums and blogs, we can deal with it here, too

@ian: I noticed that too, it's not supposed to be like that

I didn't know I changed any editor stuff, but I'll have to have a look around.

Whoops. I made a list in OneNote where I had 'Misc' and I decided to put the whole thing in at the last minute, forgot to correct the red underline

Not to mention, I was going to make all of those forums hidden until everything was ready. I really need to slow down lol.
