Real Ale can be an acquired taste, but once acquired, it never goes away I have a bro-in-law who makes beer (properly, he's built a fully operational micro-brewery in his <very large> garage). That's amazing stuff. The winter brew (for those long, cold evenings) is like some kind of electric drug which hits the brain in moments and makes the drinker very happy indeed. It's a miracle
