trouble with champers is that the cheap stuff is lousy & all too often that's what you get - but a good one is lovely when properly chilled

A nice Rose can be an excellent drink on a summer weekend, as well. NZ produces some fantastic Roses - I love 'em

I have to declare another 'favourite' drink:

Apple & Pomegranite squash (i.e. a syrup that you mix with water). It's fantastic & with just enough of a sharp bite to cleanse the palate. Delish We get it from our local burglers - sorry, I mean local supermarket.
