Oh, I just got back from cleaning the dust out a desktop that had not been cleaned for about 6 years. Start time was increased from 5 minutes (ish) to 2 minutes (ish). I never thought dust could mess with the speed so much :P

Canned air, and having a vaccuum to suck all the dust out of the room!

Rogem, they probably had to clean their whole house!

Dust can be quite bad for a Computer and dangerous because dust can hold static !, i clean once every six months because even if it looks clean once you start you soon find its not as clean as you may have thought

Agreed ^^ I never knew dust could hold static mind.

Does anyone know how good dust filters are?

Most tend to stop dust, so there quite a good idea for intake fans, you can make your own with a pair of tights or stockings
